Job Description:
This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient
operation and maintenance of the location's facilities, including
mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. This includes
overseeing preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to ensure
that the location's facilities are safe, functional, and
well-maintained. As a Maintenance Technician -you will:
- Manage the maintenance and repair of all mechanical,
electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems in the facility.
- Oversee preventive maintenance for all equipment and systems to
ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Respond promptly to all service requests and ensure that
repairs are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify
potential issues and recommend corrective action.
- Oversee the work of outside contractors and vendors who perform
maintenance and repair work in the facility.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair
activities, including work orders, invoices, and maintenance
logs.
- Ensure that all safety regulations are followed and that the
facilities are safe for guests and employees.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least five years of experience in building maintenance or a
related field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under
pressure.
- Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
- This is a customer facing role which requires a professional
image and delivery of exceptional customer service skills.
- Valid Driver's license.
- Must be 18 years of age. Working Conditions:
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and
bending
- The job may require working weekends and holidays to
accommodate customer needs.
- Maintenance Engineers typically work in an indoor environment
but may also spend time outdoors inspecting the facility.
- They may be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
as needed to ensure that maintenance and repair activities are
completed promptly and efficiently.
- Engineers may also be required to lift heavy equipment and
perform physical labor. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Protective gear, such as hard hats, safety glasses, and gloves,
may be required when working with hazardous materials or in
potentially dangerous situations.
- Environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise,
dust, and wetness
