Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversityAs a Sr. Embedded Systems Software Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced software solutions for our Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) business within the Aerospace (AERO) Strategic Business Group (SBG). You will play a critical role in designing and developing software applications that enable the safe and efficient operation of unmanned aircraft systems. Your expertise in software engineering and your passion for innovation will contribute to the success of our UAS business and help shape the future of the aerospace industry.
You will report directly to our Director of Engineering and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by developing cutting-edge software solutions that enhance the performance, reliability, and safety of unmanned aircraft systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements, design software architectures, and implement robust and scalable solutions. Your work will contribute to the growth and success of our UAS business and help us maintain our position as a leader in the aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities
- - ---- Develop A661 customer specific applications.
- - ---- Integrate software components within the Anthem Avionics platform.
- - ---- Trouble shoot software and integration issues on customer specific platforms.
