Description:Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Answers phone lines
• Makes appointments/RS appointments
• Sends lab orders to the lab/facilitates lab requisitions
• Sends last visit note to referring offices if medical records release on file
• Sends triage call to triage line
• Takes hospital consults/ and forward information to the appropriate physician
• Takes urgent messages and distributes to proper physician
• Scans insurance paperwork, Rx paperwork, and patient information into EMR
• Assists in requesting/providing medical records when needed
• Other site-specific tasks as assigned by managementRequirements:Qualification/Requirement:
  • Ability to apply a common sense understanding to carry out detailed and involved written and/or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving occasional, last-minute changes in generally standardized situations.Education/Training/Experience:
    • High school diploma or a GED
