We are seeking a talented Property Reinspector. The selected
candidate should reside in the Phoenix, AZ area or be willing to
relocate. Primary areas of responsibility will be Arizona, New
Mexico and other territories as needed.
Ensures a quality property repair estimate and valuation product
by focusing on targeted areas to continuously calibrate the
reinspection process, validates reported findings and provides an
objective subject matter expert (SME) knowledge to the Property
Claims and broader Claims community. Completes work assignments and

Improves property severity through conducting thorough, timely
re-inspections of property and property repair estimates, and
reports on payment accuracy and compliance by method of inspection
(PDRP and Independents).
Creates awareness and drives understanding of Property adjusting
procedures and best practices to the Property Claims and broader
Serves as a Property Adjusting SME.
May conduct special projects as assigned.
Applies expert knowledge of P&C insurance industry products,
services, and processes to include P&C insurance policy
contracts and coverages, USAA property estimate/repair process and

During a catastrophe, or post event, performs property
reinspections for catastrophe claims with a minimum of 28
consecutive days during the catastrophe event or post event.
Requires working time requirement of 7 consecutive days, 7:00AM
7:00PM, member time.
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
2 or more years relevant property field adjusting experience
Physical Demand Requirements:
Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds to include lifting a
ladder in and out of the trunk of a car.
Ability to climb ladders and traverse roofs, this includes the
ability to work at heights while inspecting roofs and attics.
Ability to crouch and stoop to inspect confined attic spaces and
go beneath homes into crawl spaces.
Meet all USAA safe driving requirements including verification
of driving record through MVR & possession of valid driver?s
4+ years relevant property field adjusting experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook,
Expert knowledge of Xactimate and XactAnalysis
Expert knowledge of property claims contracts
Knowledge of property construction and structural repair
Strong communication and presentation skills
