As a Recruiter Coordinator, you will: -Fully embrace a culture of hospitality catered to the compassionate residents and hardworking staff members of Royal Oaks -Grab those binoculars and perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria using computer databases, networking, recruiting resources, cold calls, media, firms, and employee referrals -Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates -Design and implement overall recruiting strategy -Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications -Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards -Source and recruit candidates by using social media -Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports -Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process -Promote company's reputation as "best place to work" -Attend job fairs/recruitment functions, conduct telephone interviews to connect with applicable candidates, inform applicants of employment selection Major Duties and Responsibilities: -Lead full recruiting cycle from posting of position to on-boarding of candidate. -Creates a talent pipeline by building relationships with qualified candidates in prioritized skill sets; develops a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need. -Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified leads for current and future positions. -Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, recruiting firms, and employee referrals. -Actively network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees. -Stays current on market trends, assigned skill sets, and understands emerging technologies. -Screens applications and resumes for qualified candidates; performs interviews of applicants to assess skills, competency, and preferences for appropriate match with available openings. -Conduct telephone interviews with candidates and facilitate interview process with other applicable employees. -Contact applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, consideration, and selection. Prepares all written correspondence to interviewed applicants to ensure timely notification of employment decisions. -Notifies colleagues of acceptance/declination of offer. -Assist when needed to prepare, deliver and process new hire paperwork, offer letter and other pieces of on-boarding documentation. -Maintains professional and technical competency through constantly pursuing knowledge by remaining appraised of current hiring trends. -Maintains all records and files of recruiting activities, candidates, and outcomes to ensure availability and accuracy of information in response to all inquiries in the Paycor-Newton software system. -Assist to develop and manage recruiting budget; prepares a variety of management and activity reports to provide information, trends and statistics regarding hiring efforts, issues, and/or concerns. -Ensures that all recruiting is conducted within legal parameters maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act. -Advertising -Receives, proofs, and authorizes advertising copy; determines appropriate sourcing strategy based on understanding of applicant pool and most cost effective advertising strategy to maximize candidates. Works with the Marketing Department to develop presentations, brochures, and other collateral materials as needed in support of marketing our hiring efforts, Preparing and attending job fairs and recruitment functions. Human Resources Coordinate employee referral incentive programs to ensure timely and accurate payment is made to employee. Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) manual for all Human Resource Recruiter job functions. Communicate Royal Oaks policies and procedures as they apply to managers and employees, referring to the employee handbook. Create and maintain job descriptions for each position. Full understanding of residents' rights, including the right to be free of restraints and free of abuse. Is responsible for promptly reporting to the Director of Health Services, Director of Resident Services or Chief Executive Officer (CEO) incidents or evidence of resident abuse or a violation of residents' rights. Keeps the Human Resources Director promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance. Attends and participates in training activities, meetings and seminars and assists other departments as needed. Exhibit qualities of a team player and interacts courteously, appropriately with patience and concern for the needs of the elderly and maintains a positive attitude while interacting with residents, guests, families, and co-workers. Addresses problems and conflicts in a professional and effective manner with supervised staff, allowing for opportunities of learning and growth, and facilitating such opportunities in a respectful manner. Knowledge and Skills: -Strong interviewing skills and understanding of line of business/skill set labor market. -Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) / Paycor-Newton -Advanced effective people/project management skills. -Advanced knowledge of employment laws. -Excellent communication performance, both written and verbal including oral presentation skills. -Clear speaking voice, must be fluent in English Education and Experience: Has high school diploma or GED equivalent / required Preferably a two-year degree from an accredited college or university. Three to Five exempt and non-exempt recruiting experience in full life-cycle environment, including management of multiple high volume roles simultaneously.
