Job Description:
Clean Harbors, a North American leader in environmental and
industrial services, is seeking a dedicated Class A Driver with
specialized HazMat and tanker endorsements. This position is
critical to our mission of ensuring the safe and efficient
transport of bulk liquids, contributing to our goal of protecting
the environment through sustainable practices. The ideal candidate
is experienced in handling hazardous materials, adept in driving a
variety of transmission types including manual, and is committed to
safety and excellence in every task. Safely transport hazardous and
non-hazardous bulk liquid materials in compliance with federal,
state, and local regulations. Inspect vehicle before and after
trips for mechanical items and safety issues, and perform
preventative maintenance. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules,
adapting to any unforeseen circumstances on the road. Document and
log work/rest periods, miles spent driving, and retain fuel/toll
receipts. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size,
weight, route designations, parking, and break periods), as well as
with company policies and procedures. Report defects, accidents, or
violations as required. Handle documentation concerning hazardous
materials being transported, ensuring all safety protocols are
followed. Proven work experience as a Class A driver with HazMat
and tanker endorsements. Strong awareness of safety protocols and
procedures in handling hazardous materials. Proficient in using GPS
devices and other route planning technologies. Excellent time
management skills to fulfill tight schedules. Ability to operate
manual and non-automatic vehicles. Medical Insurance Dental
