Sonora Quest Laboratories, a distinguished leader in diagnostic testing and a joint venture between Banner Health and Quest Diagnostics, is seeking a dedicated and skilled East Valley Float Phlebotomist to join our team. This position requires traveling between multiple facilities within the East Valley region to support our commitment to providing top-quality healthcare services. In this role, you will work directly with patients, drawing blood samples for medical testing and analysis to aid in diagnosis and medical decisions. The ideal candidate will have proven phlebotomy skills, exceptional patient interaction abilities, and a passion for healthcare. Travel to multiple healthcare facilities within the East Valley to perform phlebotomy duties. Accurately identify patients and properly label specimens for testing. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Explain blood draw procedures to patients and manage any discomfort or stress. Follow patient confidentiality guidelines and legal compliance regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize the patient experience. Ensure proper transport and storage of blood samples to the laboratory for processing. Proficient in various phlebotomy techniques (e.g., venipuncture, capillary draws). Knowledge of medical software and electronic health record systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask and adapt to varying clinical environments. Attention to detail in specimen handling, labeling, and logging. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) preferred. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required for travel.
