Contract Length: 12.00-3,91 Start Date: 03/10/2026 Job Description:
The RN in the Med/Tele unit is responsible for providing nursing
care to patients with conditions such as CHF, COVID, respiratory,
GI, diabetic issues, and post-cath. The role requires the RN to
read tele strips and manage various patient needs in a telemetry
setting on the third floor with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio.
Responsibilities: Interpret tele strips and sign at least once a
shift. Manage patients with CHF, COVID, respiratory and GI issues,
diabetic conditions, and post-cath care. Float to East Campus and
potentially PCU if qualified. Participate in self-scheduling
subject to managerial adjustments. Requirements: Current BLS and
ACLS certification. Experience reading basic tele strips and some
experience with CVA and TIA. Cerner experience recommended. Must
pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts before contract signing.
