Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Chandler, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,077 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hours Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the past 6 months License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Strong cardiac telemetry background Description: This position requires telemetry skills. Travelers must pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving the offer. There will be a pass/fail simulation lab on the first day of orientation. Study guides will be provided with first-day instructions. The unit has 60 ED beds. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1 to 4. Nurses will care for ED holds waiting for placement on a unit, primarily for medical/surgical telemetry patients. Nurses must be able to decrease cardiac drips per physician’s orders and parameters. Experience must include knowledge of titratable drips such as Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone. Charge nurse responsibilities may be assigned. Patient care technicians are available on the unit. Nurses must read and interpret cardiac strips. There are no monitor technicians in this department. The position involves 12-hour shifts with the ability to self-schedule, although this may change. There is a weekend requirement of four shifts in a four-week schedule. Nurses must work two of four major holidays and will be the first to float to other areas as needed. Floating requirements may include medical/surgical, telemetry, overflow units, and emergency departments. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with emergency department patients, including vital signs, IV starts, and medication administration. Cancellation policy allows for hospital-initiated cancellations of up to four shifts for each 13-week assignment. Charting is done using an electronic medical record system. No vents are present in this unit, but other respiratory equipment such as CPAP and BiPAP may be utilized. Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS BLS Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam
