Registered Nurse (RN) | Neuro ICU Location: Phoenix, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,193 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Level 1 Trauma experience - EVD experience Description: MUST HAVE LEVEL 1 TRAUMA EXPERIENCE. MUST HAVE EVD EXPERIENCE. Candidates required to pass DYS exam prior to accepting. 2 attempts allowed, if failed, candidate will be ineligible for 6 months. All nurses will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes. Those understanding sterile field typically pass SIMs Lab skills. The organization expects every nurse to be competent in maintaining sterile field. If a candidate indicates a lack of competence in these areas, they may not be a good fit. Additional educational sessions will cover lifts, restraints, and wound care. Strong neuro assessment skills and ICP monitoring experience are necessary. Frequent patient types include those qualifying for critical care with neuro diagnoses. The facility performs craniotomies, brain tumor removals, ablations, brain biopsies, complicated spine surgeries, and scoliosis repairs. Cancellation policy allows the facility to cancel up to 4 shifts during the assignment. Charting system used is Cerner.
