Job Description:

and detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist to join our dynamic healthcare
team in the pharmacy department. In this role, you will be
responsible for managing the medication therapy and counseling of
our customers, ensuring their safety and promoting optimal health
outcomes. Situated at the intersection of healthcare services and
customer care, this position at Walmart not only pushes the
boundaries of traditional retail pharmacy but also impacts lives
directly through thoughtful pharmaceutical care. Provide accurate
prescription dispensing, ensuring proper dosage and medication
instructions. Monitor patient drug therapies and provide counseling
and educational services. Comply with all regulatory requirements
pertaining to pharmacy practice. Administer immunizations as
needed. Manage pharmaceutical inventory and perform medication
therapy management reviews. Collaborate with healthcare providers
to optimize patient care. Strong knowledge of pharmacology and
various drug interactions Ability to manage high-volume
prescription dispensing Excellent communication and customer
service skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Proficiency in the use of pharmacy management software Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Active and unrestricted Pharmacist licensure Certification in
Immunization Delivery Certification in Medication Therapy
Management (MTM) preferred
