Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - PCU Job Details: • Work a
varied schedule with floating between Boswell and Del Webb campuses
as needed, with Boswell as primary campus • Assess, plan,
implement, evaluate and document nursing care for patients in the
Progressive Care Unit • Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment,
and nursing skills to provide age-appropriate care • Assess patient
physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational,
developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs • Formulate
and implement individualized plans of care based on assessment data
and patient needs • Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team
members and delegate appropriately to other healthcare personnel •
Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising
plans as needed • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in
patient records according to policy • Participate in unit shared
leadership and contribute to quality improvement initiatives •
Provide direction and supervision to licensed and non-licensed
personnel • Must possess current valid RN license in state of
practice or compact licensure • BLS certification required •
Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
• Recent acute care experience within past 12 months in specialty
area required • Must maintain clinical performance competencies
through annual validations • Physical demands include frequent
standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 75 pounds, and proper
