qualified CVICU RN in Phoenix, Arizona, 85013! Pay Information

Minimum of 2 years in ICU, CVICU preferred License: Yes
Certifications: ACLS, BLS; CCRN preferred Must-Have: Must have
Level I trauma experience. Must pass the dysrhythmia exam prior to
acceptance. Travel teams must have their own vehicles. Must
maintain natural hair color and have no facial piercings. Men must
be clean-shaven for fit testing. Must pass a fail exam on the first
day of orientation. Competency in Foley catheter insertion and
central line dressing changes is essential. Competency in
maintaining a sterile field is critical. Experience with bedside
procedures is highly preferred. Description: This position is for a
Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Intensive Care. The
unit has a high acuity with a significant number of one-on-one
patient assignments. Common diagnoses include cardiac surgery
recovery, lung transplant, and various thoracic procedures. The
nurse will work with intensivists and have access to 24/7
respiratory therapy and pharmacy services. The expected
nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1 to 1:2. The EMR system used is
Cerner. Requires floating to other ICUs and telemetry units if
needed. Weekend shifts will be required as part of the schedule.
Additional training on lifts, restraints, and wound care will be
provided. Travelers can expect a high volume of bedside procedures,
such as bronchoscopy and placement of Swan-Ganz catheters. This
role involves working with transplant patients, requiring advanced
IV skills. Please note that the hospital has a cancellation policy
