Wastewater Technician Position Overview The Wastewater Technician
is responsible for overseeing wastewater treatment operations and
ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. This role
involves supervising a team of technicians, managing daily
operations, and maintaining optimal functionality of wastewater
treatment facilities. Key Responsibilities Supervise and train
wastewater treatment staff to ensure efficient operation of the
facility. Monitor and analyze wastewater treatment processes to
maintain compliance with ADEQ standards. Conduct regular
inspections and maintenance of equipment and systems to ensure they
are functioning correctly. Prepare and submit reports on wastewater
treatment operations, including compliance with state and federal
regulations. Implement safety protocols and training for staff to
ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications High school
diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in a
related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in
wastewater treatment operations. Must possess ADEQ certification
for wastewater treatment. Grade 3/4 certification in wastewater
treatment is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of environmental
regulations and wastewater treatment processes. - For this
position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United
States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
