About the Role: We are looking for a Global Online Customer Education Program Strategist to join our team. As a Global Online Education Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our Online Education Strategy. Your responsibilities will encompass developing comprehensive customer online learning strategies across the Gore Medical organization and collaborating with teams to develop curricula that deliver value to our physician and provider customers. This position requires a strategic mindset, excellent collaboration skills, and a strong passion for advancing online HCP education in the medical device industry.

This position offers multiple work arrangements: hybrid at our facilities in Elkton, Maryland, Phoenix or Flagstaff, Arizona, or fully remote work allowed in most locations within the United States, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead online customer education strategy development across the Gore Medical organization by partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver on business goals, and ultimately customer needs
  • Ensure global connectivity, and develop a model for sharing content across regions (where relevant) to develop efficiencies and alignment of global teams and education strategies
  • Align with key education stakeholders on an online learning roadmap that offers a model for continual improvement on this capability and a clear vision and drives to the Gore Medical Online Education Strategy. Accountability for education roadmap
  • Act as a subject matter expert in the space of online education and provide input into an overarching solution architecture for Gore Medical to ensure exceptional Associate and Customer experiences
  • Stay abreast of new releases and advancements offered in medical education methodologies, technology, and adult online learning principles to incorporate cutting-edge practices into Gore Medical's customer education framework
  • Create a passion internally surrounding the opportunities offered by expanding and connecting our education experiences to an online environment ultimately influencing those around you to have the same passion and drive
  • Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of education strategies and make data-driven adjustments for continuous improvement
  • Engage proactively with our HCP engagement, clinical training, and sales and marketing teams to identify customer training needs corresponding to existing and new products and procedures
  • Establish a curriculum development process that involves subject matter experts, instructional designers, and customer input to ensure the highest educational standards and improve the education quality delivered by Gore Medical
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials that effectively communicate the value proposition of Gore Medical's online educational offerings

    Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience leading and executing broad functional strategy (sales and marketing) within the medical device or healthcare industry
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience leading projects, programs, and/or cross-functional teams within a sales or marketing team
    • Proven aptitude in influence management, strategic thinking, and problem solving
    • Strong ability to connect people, process, and technology within programs and create a cohesive plan
    • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills with a proven ability to align initiatives with broader business objectives.
    • Effective presentation and communication skills
    • Excellent organization and execution skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical teams, as well as with other cultures and geographies
    • Proven ability to learn new skills and translate them into strategy development and action
    • Ability to travel up to 25%

      Desired Qualifications:
      • Additional certifications or qualifications in medical education, instructional design, or a related field are looked highly upon
      • Previous experience overseeing an adult learning program OR Learning Management System (LMS) within a healthcare environment

        Remote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates in the continental United States (US) and Canada, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore's remote working policies, from the country in which they are employed. For fully remote roles, the following locations are not eligible for new fully remote work arrangements: Alaska and Hawaii (for all roles), and Rhode Island (for wage/hourly roles only).
